What makes an incredible trip?

It's such a personal question. For me, the answer almost always starts in nature—wide open landscapes, fresh air, and the quiet awe of standing somewhere that makes you feel small in the best way.

Over time, I've come to think that great travel isn't necessarily about checking destinations off a list (although that is satisfying!), but instead how deeply you experience a place. It's getting happily lost in a city you’ve never walked before. Ordering the unfamiliar dish on the menu a second time because it was that good. Sharing a cold beer at a neighborhood pub after a day outside. These are the moments that stay with you.

That feeling—of being fully present and genuinely connected—is what I'm always chasing on behalf of my clients.

I'm Kelsey, a San Diego-based content strategist with a career in tech and a deep passion for travel advising. I've always been travel obsessed—for the better part of a decade, the running joke in my family group chat has been “Where in the world is Kelsey?”

That curiosity has sharpened into something more purposeful: a knack for finding the stays that don't show up on the first page of search results, booking the activities locals would actually recommend, and curating trips that feel considered.

Travel is personal, and I treat it that way. As your travel advisor, your priorities shape everything: a perfectly located hotel, a hidden-gem restaurant that the locals frequent, unhurried time built into an itinerary that breathes. Some clients want refined five-star properties; others want beautifully curated boutique stays with character to spare. Either way, my role is to shape a journey that feels entirely yours.
